How to Use the Tool Box

The Tool Box is your central hub for discovering, exploring, and managing sustainability tools. Whether you're a consultant or client, the Tool Box helps you find the right solution for your needs.

1. Browsing the Tool Box

  • Navigate to the Tool Box from your main menu

  • You'll see a comprehensive list of sustainability tools with filtering options at the top

  • Search Bar: Use the search field to find tools by name or description

  • Filters: Narrow down results using the filter dropdowns:

    • Industry: Filter by sector (Financial Services, Manufacturing, Technology, etc.)

    • Category: Sort by tool type (Reporting, Carbon Management, etc.)

    • Customer Size: Filter by company size compatibility

    • Rating: Show only highly-rated tools

    • Region: Filter by geographic availability

2. Exploring Tool Details

  • Click on any tool card to view the detailed tool page

  • The detail page includes:

    • Complete tool description

    • User reviews and ratings

    • Certified consultants who use this tool

    • Similar/related tools

    • Company information and website links

3. Managing Tools

  • Add Tool: Click the "Add Tool" button to suggest new tools for the platform.

  • Rate Tools: Use the "Rate" button on any tool card to share your experience

  • Reviewing Tools: You can drop reviews in against tools - these will be public.

4. Getting certified on a Tool

  • Training and Certification: Leafr partners with various tool providers to offer training and certification. Look out for emails or get in touch with us if you'd like a certification on a tool.
