Leafr makes this easy with direct engagement options that bypass the project posting process.
Finding the right Consultant
Browsing Consultants
First, here's how you browse consultants. You can favou
Navigate to the Leafr Network: Use the main navigation to access our full consultant network and browse all Consultants.
Filter by expertise: Use search filters for specific skills (ESG reporting, carbon accounting, B-Corp certification, etc.)
Favourite Consultants: click the 'Heart' icon to add Consultants to your favourites and build up a curated list of experts.
Review profiles: Each consultant profile shows:
Detailed bio and experience
Specialisms and work areas (Take Action, Increase Capacity, Measure)
Star ratings and testimonials from previous clients
Companies they've delivered for
Completed project examples
How to directly offer work
From any consultant profile:
On each profile you'll see a set of buttons. Hit the "Work with [Name]" button and this takes you to a streamlined request form.
Here you can specify your project scope, timeline, and budget, and submit this directly to the consultant.
The Consultant will be send the brief, and can choose to reply and accept or decline. They may suggest scope adjustments or timeline modifications.
You'll then need to confirm the contract with them, agreeing rates, deliverables, timeline and scope.
Once you're set up, Leafr will provide secure payment processing through the platform.
Noone else will see the project that you've offered, aside from the Consultant you've reached out.
You can edit the project any time in your 'Projects' page.
Sharing direct projects to the network
As you go through the direct project flow, you will see a check box to share the project out to the Leafr network.
If you select this, the project will be shared as a public project, and Consultants will be able to apply.
Remember: Directly-offered projects work the same way as normal projects, and have all of Leafr's benefits including legal protection, secure payments, and platform support, while giving you the flexibility to work with your preferred consultants immediately.
