As a Consultant on Leafr, you can create a 'client account'. This is useful if you are running any of your own sustainability projects, or want to subcontract for a project you're working on.
This means you can use Leafr's functionality to post projects, search for and consultants, protect yourself using our contracting features, and handle invoicing and payments seamlessly. You'll also earn £250 Commission for the first project you hire for successfully.
You can do this in 2 ways: hitting 'Work with (Name)' on another Consultant's profile, or hitting 'Hire on Leafr' in the sidebar.
Clicking to 'Work with' a Consultant directly
On Leafr you can browse other Consultant's profiles, and find people who are a fit if you'd like to hire for your own sustainability projects. When you go onto a Consultant's profile, you'll see a 'Work with (Name)' button. Once you hit this you'll be guided through the creation process (see below).
Creating a Client Account from the Sidebar
From the sidebar: Click on "Hire on Leafr (Client Account)" in the bottom section of the sidebar.
Entering your Required Information: including your Client Email (you can keep your Consultant email, but if you have a company email it's best to use this one), Organisation Name and Website if you have one.
Click "Create Client Account" to proceed.
After you create your Client Account
You'll be taken to a welcome page. Now you can:
Contact the Consultant you clicked on: (if you got here from 'Work with') – propose a project with them, and you can start the process to hire them directly.
Post Your First Project: Start hiring consultants immediately from the Leafr network.
Explore Consultants: Learn about project management tools.
Access Support: Get help setting up your account.
How do I switch between my Consultant and Client Account?
You can switch back to your consultant account at any time. In place of the 'Create Client Account' in the sidebar, you'll see a 'Switch to Client/Consultant' Account button.
Both accounts remain active and accessible.
You can use the same email for both accounts
